Ms Kerr tells of growing up in Fremantle, changing reluctantly from Aussie Rules to Football (soccer) at the age of eleven, and her meteoric rise to be one of the world's best players.
There are lots of photos and interviews with people who have played with her or coached her.
A very simple read, probably best placed in an upper-primary or lower-secondary school library.
Kudos to the ghost writer, Fiona Harris, for keeping Kerr's voice clear and consistent. Harris and Kerr have also collaborated on a series of children's books. ( )
