Quick but interesting book about one of the obscure but highly effective medium bombers of WWII. Author was an American farm boy that went to war, came home and used the G I Bill to become a neurophysiologist and college professor. He does an excellent job of providing enough technical detail about the Martin Marauder to show why it was such an efficient air weapon. Although his career as a B26 navigator was brief it covered almost the entire combat life of this little known airplane. ( ) inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
Brown served with the Ninth Air Force's 391st Medium Bombardment Group based in England. He developed great affection and respect for the Douglas B-26 Marauder in which he served. This book looks at the aircraft's development and introduction into service. Inga biblioteksbeskrivningar kunde hittas. |
