This book is the definitive study about August Euler and his aircraft production. It is credit to the author that he has managed to get a complete inventory of all the different aircraft types designed and produced by the Euler Werke. It is a delight that all this documentation still exists somewhere after the ravages of time, negligence and war(s). Added to that there are all sorts of extra lists, for instance an overview of all Patents of Euler. All honor to the writer, Mr. Düsing. The selection of pictures is exemplary and shows rare examples in the best possible format. A super production. ( ) This book provides a very detailed and well researched German language account of the life, enterprises and aeroplanes of an aviation pioneer - August Euler, Germany's Pilot Nr.1. The book is not an easy read, at least for my German language skills, but an excellent reference with huge amount of contemporary illustrations, photographs and other documents reproduced throughout the main body of the work, as well as in 14 Appendixes. The book is highly recommended. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
