I'm disappointed that the blizzard--in which our main character wanders just about all day--doesn't give a more palpable sense of the cold and isolation. The cold could have been a character in its own right, and just ... wasn't. Which really diminished what could have been a great dramatic device. Alas. The novel, White Out by Walter Sorrells encompasses that hiding your identity doesnt always make the problems go away.In the beginning, Chass and her mother struggles with trying to run from Kyle Vann Epps to not get killed for having the tape. Throughout the middle she perseveres through almost getting killed a few times and losing and gaining some friends along the way. By the end she and her mother had found what to do to get him locked up and end there madness of running. i read 272/272 pages. Book 3 in the Hunted series. This story is written well enough to keep the attention of the reader, but Chass makes lots of illogical choices often with illogical results making the ending abrupt and frustrating. I'm almost glad there isn't another installment in this series. ( )
